|What is STEM? |
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM education is promotion of real-world experience, teamwork, and the authentic application of technology. Additionally, it also promotes discovery, problem based learning, and project-based learning. STEM is supported by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Education.
This fall ND CDE is partnering with Byron Academy to provide our female students with an opportunity to engage in science and technology.
